There was great discussion around various summer festivals and traditions. It was pointed out that many festivals take place after a harvest. For countries who have weather that lends itself to year around harvest, it was suggested there were less “summertime festivals”. Others shared how festivals and traditions often involve family and food as central to the celebration. Music was also highlighted as am important aspect of summertime festivals along with the fashion that accompanies the event. What unique traditions have you participated?
